Complete Service - March: Water of Life

March is the month when we in the Northern Hemisphere welcome spring with the Spring Equinox on March 21. In some northern ecosystems spring is just emerging with the melting of snow and ice, in other places vernal pools are forming and creeks and rivers may swell with spring runoff or flooding. Also of note is that World Water Day is March 23. March is a good month to focus on water and specific issues related to water conservation, water pollution, access to safe drinking water, and getting to know the waterways in your watershed.
